Crazy Week...

Writing and blogging took a back seat this week. It was a tough one. I lost a dear friend to pancreatic cancer on Tuesday. She was also one of my choir members. She will definitely be missed. Friday, my son was in an accident. Both he and the other driver are okay, but both cars were totaled. It's the stuff of parental nightmares...

On the writing front - I'm heading to Nashville April 24th for the SCBWI-Midsouth Plotting Workshop. I'm making it a personal retreat weekend with designated writing assignments while I'm there. I'm pumped!

Oh, Nora! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. And, about your son's accident. I'll pray for you and your friend's family. Seems like we've both had a difficult run of it this past week. I hope you have a great time at the conference. You need some time to "chillax." XOXO

Whoa! You've indeed been served up a few lemons this week...but sounds like lemonade is on its way. Glad your son is (physically) unscathed!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend too, and your son's accident. Our 17-year-old is just starting driving lessons and I want her to be confident, but at the same time, I'm so frightened.

Hope you have a better week after your spring break starts!
