Just a Thought...

Today the cafeteria served foot-long hotdogs with sauerkraut. Why on God's green earth you would EVER serve sauerkraut to 400 elementary children, I'll never know. Have mercy on us this afternoon.

Umm ... I guess cabbage is cheap. In one way, anyway. Hope you make it through okay.

Hee, hee! Go figure!

That's nuts! I hope at least it was on the side in a dish and not on top of the hot dog!

That is weird. Maybe they were thinking it was an Irish thing for St. Patrick's Day? Bizarre. I love the stuff, but don't know too many others who do.

I have a couple of kids who are gassy enough without the extra help!

Kelly - They put LOTS of it on the hot dog.

Rena - I like it on a rueben, but that's the only way I'll eat it.

I wonder how many kids can't or shouldn't eat that stuff? Bad food choice.

Wow. That is one fascinating choice of a school lunch menu item! They'd almost be better off serving steamed cabbage--but the smell!

You must live back east. That would never happen at my school here in Utah... but I love that stuff, so I wish it would.

Interesting choice...my guess is hardly any of them ate it, anyway!

Ummm, why would they serve them footlongs? YIKES! Nitrate overload....
